We can see training as a path, where both dog and owner learn something. In this course, they learn, for example, how to do exercises together, methods and rules to stay together in the right way, etc., by using innovative techniques as well as consolidated teaching systems used all over the world.

At Il Corso dell'Olimpo, our main goal is to support Cane Corso owners and enthusiasts in understanding the importance of effective training and in acquiring the skills necessary to establish a balanced relationship with their dog. Although we do not directly offer training services, we provide advice and guidance to direct you towards the best practices and resources available.
At the heart of any successful training journey is the relationship between the dog and its owner. A bond based on trust, respect and mutual understanding is essential to successfully face the challenges of education and to ensure a peaceful coexistence.

ENCI - Regolamento Nazionale Prove di Lavoro per Cani da Utilità e Difesa (National Regulations for Working Tests for Utility and Defense Dogs)

Below, you can consult the National Regulations for Working Tests for Utility and Defense Dogs of the ENCI (National Body for Italian Dog Breeding). This document establishes the guidelines and rules for working trials for utility and defense dog breeds in Italy, giving aims and objectives, participation methods and requirements, defining test grounds and track grounds, as well as rules on evaluations, judges, prizes, health provisions and responsibilities.
The tests are divided into various classes and titles, such as the ENCI Certificate and the Certificate of Attitude to Work (this certifcate is called CAL, in italian). Cane Corso breeders can enroll their dogs in these trials to obtain certifications that attest to the working and defense capabilities of their animals, thus improving the value of the bred specimens.

Implementation of the 2019 IGP Regulation

The regulation integrates, with specific italian directives, the international standards set out in the International Regulations for working trials for utility and defense dogs (IGP 2019 - Internationale Gebrauchshunde Prüfungsordnung) of the FCI ( Fédération Cynologique Internationale).
